COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS
Week of June 21, 2004
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00 a.m. with all the Commissioners in attendance with the Deputy Clerk of the Board.
The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign the Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing Agreement between North Central Washington Regional Support Network and Grant County.
The Commissioners approved the salary, wage, and/or position changes as recommended by Angie Clark, Human Resources Director, for Nicole Cisneros, New Hope Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault.
The Commissioners approved the temporary appointment and start date of June 21, 2004 for Michele Angell, New Hope Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Services.
The Commissioners approved the request of Warren R. Swanson, Administrator, Juvenile Court and Youth Services, to purchase four new portable VHF radios.
As of this date, the Board, by a majority vote, does approve for payment those vouchers certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.080, and those expense reimbursement claims certified by the auditing officer as required by RCW 42.24.090, in the amount of $448,829.88, as recorded on a listing and made available to the Board.
The Commissioners approved the recommendation of Angie Clark, Human Resources Director, to approve the Clerk’s Office request and allow an exception to the hiring freeze to fill one Clerk position open due to employee resignation and to deny the request for an exception to the hiring freeze to fill one additional Clerk position.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until June 22, 2004.

The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all the Commissioners in attendance with the Deputy Clerk of the Board.
The Chair of the Board was authorized to sign the Washington State Department of Transportation Local Agency Agreement Supplement, Agency: Grant County Public Works; Federal Aid Project Number STPR-13DW(001); Agreement Number LA 5647, CFDA No. 20.205.
The Commissioners approved the salary, wage, and/or position changes as recommended by Angie Clark, Human Resources Director, for Maria M. Delgado, Maria M. Anaya, Maureen R. Deile and Missy McKnight, District Court; Camille Devantier, Danielle Alvarado and Sheila Poe, Prosecutor’s Office; Kevin Davis, Maintenance; and Leslie Gonzales, Sheriff’s Office.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session was continued until June 28, 2004.
