Grant Count Emergency Management COVID-19 Updates
 

 

The Grant County Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is currently activated in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  The EOC is a command and control center that coordinates response among all county first response agencies and is the local point of contact for State and Federal resources.

 

Grant County EOC is no longer providing Daily Public Briefings.  The most current information on the current cases and public education on the Grant County COVID-19 response can be found at the Grant County Health District's website.

Statewide Masking Mandate

On June the 23rd, Governor Inslee and State Secretary of Health John Wiesman announced a statewide mandatory face covering order that took effect June the 26th.  Per this mandate, residents of WA must wear face coverings in public and businesses must require customers and clients to wear masks in order to continue operating.  The full press release can be read here.  Further information on the masking order can be found on WA Department of Health's Cloth Face Coverings page here.

 

 

Safe Start WA Information

 

  On Saturday, May the 23rd, Grant County was approved by the Governor's Office to enter Phase 2 of the Safe Start Washington Plan.  Details on the Safe Start Washington Plan can be found on the following link.  Below are the activities and information for what is open during each phase that Grant County has entered.

 

On Thursday, July the 2nd, Governor Inslee and Secretary of Health John Wiesman announced that all advancement through the four phases would be halted temporarily as cases increase statewide.  Grant County remains in Phase 2.
